After viewing this learning unit you be able to describe what lightweight structures are. You will be able to identify different types of structures and their uses and be able to identify at least one issue concerning energy and sustainable design characteristics of lightweight structures. You will be able to identify and discuss at least two different materials used in lightweight structure construction and advantages of using fabric as a building material.
